Embracing the Flow of Worthiness
Beloved,
Last week, we planted roots together, grounding ourselves in safety and remembering: "I am safe to ask for what I need."
This week, we are rising into the waters of the Sacral Chakra, the seat of our emotions, creativity, and sacred worthiness.
The ask wound does not only live in survival - it also lingers in the waters of shame, fear of rejection, and the stories we carry about what we deserve.
So I ask you today:
What have you been taught about your worthiness to receive joy, pleasure, or abundance?
Where has your ability to create and flow been constrained by the fear of asking?
What if your asking is a dance with your own divine creativity?
What if each time you ask, you are inviting in life’s sweetness?
This week, as we step deeper into this series, we are softening into the truth that asking is also an act of self-adoration and sacred expression.
But first, we will pause to honor the ancestors.
The Legacy of Creative Resistance
This week, we honor the creative brilliance of our ancestors who made a way out of no way. From quilting coded messages into hairstyles and Freedom Quilts to the rhythmic prayers carried through spirituals, they infused artistry and innovation into survival. Their creativity was not just art - it was a strategy of liberation.

Let us remember: We are the ones who inherit their sacred fire.
Weekly Intention
“I am worthy of asking for joy, connection, and abundance.”
Let this be your anchoring truth as you move through this week.
Grounding the Ask Wound in the Sacral Chakra
The Sacral Chakra, located below the navel, governs our emotions, pleasure, relationships, and creativity.
When this chakra is imbalanced, we may struggle to feel worthy of asking for experiences that bring us joy, intimacy, or support.
The “ask wound” here whispers:
“I don’t want to be too much.”
“What if I’m a burden?”
“I have to earn my joy.”
This week, we reclaim these waters and remind our nervous system:
You deserve to ask for nourishment, connection, and ease—without apology.
Somatic Practice: Sacral Chakra Flow Ritual
1️⃣ Sip water slowly, tuning into your body’s sensations.
2️⃣ Place your hands on your lower belly, breathing deeply into this space.
3️⃣ Ask aloud: “Where do I withhold joy or connection because I am afraid to ask?”
4️⃣ Gently sway your hips or body, inviting fluid movement to awaken your creativity.
5️⃣ Speak your weekly intention: “I am worthy of asking for joy, connection, and abundance.”
6️⃣ Journal Prompt: “What is one joyful experience or connection I can ask for this week?”
Self-Health Protocol: This Week's Self-Health Actions
🧡 Create or engage in one act of joyful expression (dance, sing, paint, cook, etc.).
🧡 Make one ask this week for emotional connection or creative collaboration.
🧡 Reflect on how your emotions shift when you give yourself permission to ask.
Ask for what you need and assume it’s a yes.

Closing Reflection
This week I found joy in celebrating the solar return of a dear friend. They shared what’s up for them in their work with healing their ask wound. They said they’ve become devoted to caring for themselves by asking for what they need and assuming the answer is a yes.
Their words stirred something in me.
What would it mean to move through the world with that kind of grounded assurance? What if we began to trust that our needs are not a burden, but a birthright - not only for those in need of receiving but also for those in need of giving?
Beloved, what’s one ask you can make this week while assuming the answer is a yes?
Hit reply and share with me—I’d love to hear how you’re healing your ask wound.
🌊 P.S. - I’m gathering responses about the Chakra Meditation + Somatic Receiving Ritual series. If you feel called to join our Wednesday evening community sessions, hit reply with “I’m interested” and I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop!
