2/2/22 - 2/22/22

You may have heard people chatting about what wonders await us today. Or, you may have heard others question, “what’s so special about 2/2/22?” Even without being woo woo or “into numbers like that” something about this date feels pregnant with possibility.

Yall know the Simpsons be knowing stuff...

Or, maybe you are into numbers like that; in which case you’ve probably heard 2222 called an Angel number – the repeating of a number or series of numbers. I shared a bit on Angel numbers in a blog post last October, titled 2020 Vision when we experienced 10/10/2020. The belief is that Angel numbers have special significance and are charged with spiritual energies. In that post, we touched on the power of the number 2.

Numerologists often have differing views on the significance of angel numbers. However, what is collectively understood is that the number 2 represents the coming together of two separate individual wholes. It is a mirror, being born of a reflection, a duplicate or copy of the number 1. 1 + 1 = 2. The number 2 represents reproduction, polarity, and duality. It is for this reason that the number 2 is considered energetically feminine. It is receptive and has balance. It represents birth and pure potential and contains all of creation. The number two holds within it the memory or recordings of both the spiritual (1) and (1) physical flow of polar (masculine/feminine) energies. In the universal Tarot deck, the number two is represented by the High Priestess or the divine feminine.

In 2022 we will see the magic of the Divine Feminine three times – 2/2/22, 2/20/22 & 2/22/22.

We won’t see the power of 2’s again until 2/2/2222 so I’m here to encourage you to take full advantage of this magical energetic time available to you. What makes this more exciting is that we are in the month of the year when we collectively celebrate love. So, now that we understand the number 2 is born of masculine and feminine energies combined,

let’s talk about sex!...not really…let’s talk about the power of relationships!

I see 2/2/22 through 2/22/22 as a window of divine opportunity; a potential for great transformation. This is when we can use the energy of the number 2 to begin to align ourselves with the vibration and power of love and evolution that is created through relationships and partnerships. Alchemists approach the world with this understanding, “evolution is the flow of nature and to continue to progress and improve is the will of the divine.” On the contrary, as an individual, we are fully unable to create any substantive change until we engage with something/someone other than ourselves. That engagement moves us from action to interaction.

Ok, here’s where things go quantum…imagine the alchemical process for a moment; the process of turning lead into gold. When you take a chemical and combine it with the same chemical you have one potential; the creation of more of the same. However, when you take two different chemicals and combine them together, you get a reaction that has the potential to become something completely different. A number of potentials are made possible by the coming together of two unique and distinct chemicals. This “chemical reaction” is an evolutionary process that is mirrored in our relationships; the coming together of two unique and distinct individuals. The alchemy of relationships holds the most powerful catalysts for our healing and transformation. We can learn to harness this potential to accelerate our individual and collective growth.

This month, as we celebrate love, bring awareness to the power of transformation available within your interactions with others. Those interactions are what spark our alchemical process of change. It is the action of the interaction that creates the reaction we sometimes call triggers. Be mindful of your reactions to others. Begin to take note of the five W’s and How.

When you feel a chemical reaction ask yourself:

· Why am I reacting this way?

· Who is in my environment?

· What was said or done?

· Where am I feeling the reaction in my body?

· When was the first time I felt this way?

· How long have I been holding this pattern?

Try to avoid focusing on a negative or positive state, focus instead on your reactions in general. Use this time between 2/2/22 and 2/22/22 to turn the lead of your triggers into the gold of your triumphs. This information will allow you to fine-tune your relationships, encouraging you to seek out more of the interactions that make you feel like gold and less of the interactions that make you like lead.

You may find the need to cocoon yourself as you engage in your alchemical transformation. That’s okay; it’s all a part of the evolutionary process. Take your time, cocoon…heal…and be ready to emerge this spring along with all of the other beautiful butterflies.
