Take me to the water...

If you're reading this you made it. You survived 2020! And now here we are, at the first Sunday of a new year.
As I look back over 2020, a year that marked the turn of a decade, I’m reminded of just how powerful change can be. We've all heard the axiom attributed to the Greek philosopher, Heraclitus, "There is nothing more constant than change." Beit the universal phenomena or the unexpected rollercoaster ride full of wild twists and turns. By virtue of being on this planet, we are always in flux. But let's be honest, 2020 brought with it a tidal wave of change so forceful that collectively we don’t know whether we are at the crest or the crash.
Now here we stand, surveying the landscape, still uncertain of what the floodwaters may have unearthed. In so many ways, we are seeing the energy of chaos playing out in the shadows with the destruction and disruption of a great many traditions.
From how we honor the passing of life,

April 1, 2020, laying to rest my Uncle Lucky;
to how we celebrate the arrival of life,
Mother's Day 2020, my best friend's reveal.
But, on this first Sunday in 2021, I am holding the vision of the promise that the baptismal waters bring; the other side of the death process; the promise to be born again.
The power of rebirth.

This is what energizes me as I look back at my walk through 2020; the year that taught me to normalize mourning death while celebrating birth. A year where I found my earthly alignment while consciously living out, transmuting and alchemizing the energetic experiences of the planet. The year that showed me how deeply I can resonate with the ebbs and flows of the energies of death and rebirth, as this range of frequencies vibrates in a number of ways throughout our collective realities today. A year where I consciously decided to move in energetic harmony and resonance with change; accepting the expiration of one timeline, while fully embracing the space death provides, to give birth to another.
In my December blog post I shared how I arrived at 2020. Today, I'd like to share a bit of my journey through 2020. In March of 2020, the end of the first trimester, I celebrated my birthday with a photoshoot I titled, "A New Love Story." I was feeling into the desire to reinvent myself; to feel more aligned with the fullness of who I am.
By the end of the second trimester, in June, I’d gone from a full-time position on my job to furloughed. During the time of the furlough, I gave birth to H.E.A.L. YOUniversity, a brand new LLC established to provide a space to learn how to facilitate life transformations through co-creating and harmonizing with universal resources and subtle energies.
By the close of the third trimester just three months later in September, I found myself living in transitional housing. I've always created something of a shock factor with those around me, with my decisions to collapse lifetimes that no longer serve my highest and best good. The most recent being the time when I decided to shed more than 80 pounds from my body (just because I wanted to); sculpting a 130 pound athletic frame from a 210 pound body, in less than one year.

June 2018 - June 2019 (currently maintaining 128lbs)
But this decision to leave my marital home and quarantine myself for the benefit of my sovereignty was "super-charged" with the universal flow of change happening across the entire planet. This decision meant letting go of all of my weight, not just the excess body weight. This decision meant I also had to shed the emotional and material weight that was anchoring me to lower vibrational frequencies that were not contributing to my growth.
From September to December, I'd lived in three different cities in two states, eventually house sitting for a friend of a friend.
It was in this final quarter of 2020 that my decision to allow God to order my steps met the speed of 2020's forces of change.
As 2020 came to a close, so did I; on my new home.
A new beginning. A rebirth. A new love story.
Take me to the waters…
How was your 2020? In what ways did you engage with the energies of change?
To do so, at a time when the entire planet is moving in the same direction, provides you with a life hack unlike any other. Now is the time for us to step into our sovereignty. To fully embody the authentic self. Lighten our loads from the weight of societal norms and standards so that we are better equipped to rise above the low vibrational waves into higher resonance and abundance; where all things work together for the good of those who love.
Join me at H.E.A.L. YOUniversity and let's take this journey into 2021 together! Look what a difference one year can make!!
